The PRINCE project, co-financed by the Ministry of the Environment and the Protection of the Territory and the Sea, promotes the change in mobility habits for systematic travel for study purposes. The project aims to promote the reduction of pollutant emissions and energy consumption related to the world of transport in urban areas, through the definition and implementation of integrated incentive, loyalty and reward policies for those who decide to switch to more sustainable modes of transport: public transport, car sharing and bike sharing for commuting between home and university.
The project aims to facilitate the use of public means of sustainable mobility through incentive and reward mechanisms. During the project, a mobile application ("App") was developed which allows, in the AMT / bike sharing / parking network, to verify the effective use of mobility systems to reward virtuous users.

Data collected
In order to participate in the testing of the APP it is it is necessary to register by providing the following personal data: UNIGE e-mail address. The data processing is aimed at using the app for the use of sustainable means of transport, such as Local Public Transport, Bike Sharing and Car sharing in Genoa. This version of the APP is intended for a small number of identified individuals (students enrolled at the University of Genoa).
For the management of the data collected for the collection of prizes with the individual managers, must refer to them (AMT spa - Genova Car Sharing srl - Genova Parcheggi spa), Genova Car Sharing - d.modula@dufercoenergia.com, Genova Parcheggi - privacyweb@liguriadigitale.it, AMT rpd@amt.genova.it, for how much pertaining to each one.
The verification of the journey is carried out by detecting by the app of Bluetooth low energy devices ("Beacon") installed on means of transport. This operation requires that location access permissions are enabled even when the app is turned off ("background" operation).
In addition, the PRINCE app collects location data to ensure that the user is moving. Location data is collected even when the app is on standby or the screen is off.
Location data is collected only within the app to carry out the aforementioned validation. The position data is detected in the time interval between the start of the trip and its end, which are expressly indicated by the user. The position data is therefore detected temporarily: following the above validation, this is deleted from the app memory. NO POSITION DATA IS SENT to any subject.
On this aspect we ask you to give your consent to the processing on the basis of Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a) of the GDPR and you can revoke it at any time with the same ease with which you granted it to us pursuant to Article 7, paragraph 3 of the GDPR.
How to exercise your rights
You can exercise your rights on the use of personal data (e.g. access to your data, their modification, cancellation, opposition to processing, etc., acceptance and revocation of consent) provided for by Chapter III of the GDPR by contacting the Data Protection Officer (DPO) Municipality of Genoa - dpo@comune.genova.it as owner.
If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Guarantor for the protection of personal data https://www.garanteprivacy.it as established by Article 77 of the GDPR or take the appropriate judicial offices pursuant to following article 79.
